Community Outreach -
DAIS-Domestic Abuse Intervention Services - Over the past 40 years, thanks to the actions of so many in the community, DAIS has grown from a volunteer run help line in a church basement into the DAIS we know today – an organization that offers crisis intervention services including the only emergency domestic violence shelter in Dane County, a 24-Hour Help Line, weekly support groups, legal advocacy, children’s programming, and prevention education and awareness programming.  In 2016, DAIS provided over 19,000 nights of shelter to survivors of domestic violence from across Dane County.

DAIS relies on donations to provide shelter residents with the day to day items we all need. These donations go a long way toward making residents feel safe, comfortable and at home.  Please consider bringing an item from the DAIS Wish List.  Click on the image at right to view the list.
