Corbin Ball, CSP, CMP

Most meetings and trade show attendees are carrying web-enabled phones. These “micro-computers” are increasingly being used for networking, lead exchange, electronic ticketing, way finding, audience polling, surveys, pocket programs, pocket exhibit guides, course notes/literature collection and much more. New phone apps for events are emerging daily. This program will cover the hottest new mobile trends for meetings and what is likely coming in the next few years.
Learner objectives:

  • Explore the wide range of emerging mobile applications for meetings and tradeshows.
  • See how these tools can help meeting planners do their jobs more efficiently, greatly improve the attendee experience and help reduce the blizzard of paper commonly found at events.

Outreach

The Central WI Community Action Council (CWCAC)

We will be collecting personal hygiene items to be distributed to people in need by the Central WI Community Action Council (CWCAC) which serves low income individuals and families in Sauk, Juneau, Adams, Columbia, and Dodge counties. The CWAC's mission is to provide services which help low-income individuals and families within the service area achieve self-sufficiency and independence.

There is a pressing need at the Wisconsin Dells Food Pantry for personal hygiene items such as:

  • Shampoo
  • Toiletries
  • Toothpaste & toothbrushes
  • Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Etc.
These items will be collected on-site at the April 11 meeting.
